One of Diversability's long-term goals is to create a cultural center at the University of Connecticut to celebrate the diverse levels of ability within our UConn community. There are African American, Asian American, Puerto Rican/ Latin American, Rainbow (LGBTQ+), and Women's Cultural Centers, which represents most cultural minorities, except disability. We hope to make such a center available for all students to receive support, become more aware, and more accurately understand disability culture.
